“You’re doing brave things just by being here.”
Hi friend,
I just wanted to send a little love your way today and remind you of something important:
You’re doing brave things just by being here.
Bravery isn’t always loud or flashy. Sometimes, it’s just getting out of bed when your body feels like it’s made of bricks. Sometimes, it’s answering a text when you’re too tired to talk. Sometimes, it’s choosing rest instead of pushing through. And sometimes, it’s simply staying present, breathing, and surviving another day in a body that asks more of you than it gives.
That is brave.
It’s easy to overlook the quiet strength it takes to live with chronic illness. Society doesn’t always see the invisible battles. But I see you. And I want you to know that showing up—no matter what that looks like today—is more than enough.
If all you did today was exist, that’s still worthy. That’s still strong. That’s still you doing your best—and that matters deeply.
Be gentle with yourself. You’re doing more than you know.
With love,
Nell Marie
